This is conceptually one of the better mecha designs I've seen anywhere. It isn't too friggin huge, doesn't look too human (other than to facilitate the use of arms and walking), doesn't look like it'll go Jet Li on us (like too many popularized mecha designs already ), yet looks sturdy and stable. Looks like it has room to spare for a very effective weapons suite.
Tell me, how did you picture the piloting of this to work? Motion capture, amplified or otherwise; switches, levers and dials; steering stick and paddles; or some neural link?

Thanks, uhm- as far as piloting, I was thinking more switches lever's and dials. That or like a hybrid between neural control and the other. My real inspiration was like modern battle tanks, so however those work haha. Might be AI assisted too.
